Nice but.. Okay so pretty sure these pants are not what I ordered. Now that did not stop me from keeping them. They are not cold weather pants. I live in the northwest and it’s 44 this morning. Walking from the car into work was a brisk walk. So they look nice. Plenty of packets without looking like you just walked back in from a patrol in Kandahar. Perfect spring summer pants.

Just what I needed Finally, a pair of hiking pants that aren’t baggy. These are slimmer than most, but not so tight that they are restrictive. I am 5’10”, 200 lbs and a 36″ waist. The 36/32 fit perfectly. Maybe a tad tight in the seat, but not enough to make me worry. The material is a little flimsy (and maybe a little noisy), but the build is solid. Not sure yet about water or wind resistance, but will update once I give them a workout. I got the regular pants, not the convertibles. The green is perfect…

Great for the price I usually wear pants size 36W x 32L, but in these I order 38W x 34L, not because they fit small, but because I prefer the extra width and length given the material: otherwise, with this thin synthetic material, it can feel like they appear tight in the butt and crotch, as if your underwear were visible, and like the pants ride too high at the ankles. But in 38W x 34L these feel like they fit me perfectly. For the price, these are very good pants. I’ve found the stitching to hold up fine…
