I am pleased to have purchased this Bought this to store some Cutco knives. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of theses. Did remove two and replace with Cutco, so she don’t have to open the drawer every time we need a knife, but my wife has fast become a fan of the curved paring knife in this set. The steak knives are of really decent quality!I am pleased to have purchased this!Scissors are a little tight in the block, and someday (meaning probably never) I’ll file the slot a little. Thanks for reading.

Great set! These knives are great. They are well-made, the wood block is very heavy and sturdy, and they are unique looking. A few reviewers said the white handles are not shiny and look cheap, but I disagree. They are super shiny, smooth, and although they don’t look fancy they don’t look cheap at all. I’ve attached a picture of one of the knives so you can see a good view of the handle. It seems like a nice sturdy set to me!

Splitting at the handle These knifes started splitting at the handle (never washed in the dishwasher) within 5 months! Terrible quality!
