Great filter for highflow applications We have a 120′ well. When the well was first put in we pulled up seashells that were about a foot deep the entire 150′ foot of our driveway. After it settled in for a few months we started getting a black soot-like substance. We sent the water in to the Health department and it came back that the water was pure and safe to drink. The well digger said to just put a filter on and change it once a year. I change it every few months. This filter has great water flow and no noticeable pressure drop…

Good Value Glad I found these on Amazon subscription services. Since our well water is so rusty we need these every month and at half the cost of buying from the big box store it’s a great deal. I wish they would last a little longer as ours clog up so fast and when they were whirlpool brand before cullingan took them over they seemed to last longer. Overall still good for heavy sediment removal. Please let me know if this review was helpful.

Be Advised – Product not as described- now from China Product received not as shown or described. Received a R50-BBSB made in China not the R50-BBSA made in USA as pictured and indicated. Amazon needs to either correct stock or update page. What I received appeared to be a low quality replica of the original. The pleats on the filter were VERY unevenly space — some bunched up very tight and others spread way apart. Apparently put together in a hurry with no quality control.I had purchased this same item from Amazon about a year and half ago…
