First time I used it the nylon strap loop let go and dropped my on the concrete like a sack of potatoes I was excited to get a hammock with nylon straps included. First time I used it the nylon strap loop let go and dropped my on the concrete like a sack of potatoes. I weigh 200 lbs. it hurt. for weeks. It wasn’t the strap that broke, it was the stitching where the loop was sewn on. Each strap says it’s rated for 250 pounds. Don’t believe it. Buy a different one.
Stop looking and just buy this one. These are just great. Least expensive one I’ve found anywhere, and even includes really heavy duty rope and 2 heavy duty carabiners.I’m a larger size, (5′-10″ x 240 lbs) so I ultimately wound up with the double size for another couple bucks. I love it. It’s about a foot longer and wider and I can lay even flatter in it. (On the diagonal)
Reasonable comfort at a great price A good buy for the money this hammock and straps will suffice in most situations.
