Have the right expectations… I was not sure what to expect when I purchased the Cyalume SnapLight Industrial Grade Chemical Light Stick. I figured I would get about eight hours of dim light as they are advertised. Well, I received what I expected. The Light Stick lasted about eight hours, but for the last few hours there was only a small amount of light. I think these are good as a novelty item. I’m not convinced they would be much use in an emergency situation or if the power goes out. On the other hand, they do produce…

Stick These work as you’d expect. They’re Cyalume brand, so they’re the real thing. I keep a few for emergencies, but mainly it’s for my son’s baths. If you have kids, try a glow stick bubble bath. They love it. They aren’t battery/nuclear powered. They’re glow sticks. Why do people think they can crack one and signal planes or hang it from a tree and mow the lawn? It’s a freaking glow stick people. It does exactly what normal people would expect from a glow stick.
