Size up if you have fat feet My feet are a 12 wide, either EE or EEEE, for New Balance and most other shoes. the 12EE Danner Trail 2650’s that I ordered were just a little bit short in length and tight in the toe box. Maybe they would’ve been fine once the shoes stretched out or maybe I would have lost a few toenails on the downhills. I ordered up to a 13EE, and while these are a bit too long, the toe box has more room. I also found the arch support a little lacking so I replaced the Danner narrow and wimpy insoles with…
too narrow The shoes came in a timely manner. Like so many shoes I’ve tried lately they are shaped like a rectangle. Our feet are shaped like a trapezoid, wide in the front, narrow in the back. There are questionable design decisions (giant plastic bubble on heel??) and noticeable glue at some seams. Also – I ordered 2EE and they are not wide and have zero arch support – like an old fashioned flat fabric sole insert. That is ok for $25 shoes, but not $125 shoes. Not sure how they would hold up for actual outdoor…
