Sturdy and inexpensive I am a very avid hiker and go wilderness backpacking for up to 5 days at least once a year. Good hiking poles are a MUST, especially when you are tired and are carrying more than 50 lbs on your back.I bought this set of hiking poles for my beginner backpacking friend. A good walking stick Well made walking pole. I wish that adjustment and locking mechanism was easier. Shock absorbing feature is nice. It was not delivered on time even though it had a 2 day delivery guarantee. I don’t know if it’s the fault of amazon or the delivery agent. Still it makes no sense to make a guarantee and not honor it.
