These look just like what’s shown on the website These look just like what’s shown on the website. My lids all fit tight. The handle tho, on the largest one had some imperfections on it, that make it look a little rustic . The other handles did not have this. This didn’t bother me since I have some rustic Decore also .
Hard to find but handsome canister. I love the warm gleam of copper, so I was attracted to this container when when I first spied it. I had to wait weeks for the out-of-stock item to return. I’ve discovered that the plastic lid-cuffs on Old Dutch canisters don’t always fit well. I had to slice about two millimeters out of the cuff so this lid would close without a struggle. Perhaps my hack won’t keep weevils in or seal moisture out, but I’m not expecting these issues to be a vexing problem for short-term spaghetti storage anyway…
Good enough to look at These are nice containers but mainly for decorations. As a lot of reviewers have said, the lids just don’t fit tight enough to put anything in them. Out of the 4, only 1 fits tight enough for storage (2nd from the smallest) without worrying about things getting stale or allowing bugs to get inside. Living in Florida and dealing with humidity and pesky ants that are too spoiled to enjoy the outdoors anymore, there is no way we could use them for storage of any food/baking items. I guess you…
