It increases look and comfortness of mattress I believe the high quality products used to build this mattress pad. My mattress is bit old and has lot of spots/marks and now after using this pad it increased the look and softness. Because of the softness I felt it increases the sleeping quality too. The most important fact is, it perfectly fits to the king size. I should have bought this earlier but finally found a good product.
