Sitting on cooler does not put stress on wheels This thing is awesome! It has hard rubber wheels that only touch the floor when you move the cooler. I am 6’3 350 lbs and when I stand on this thing I can still spin the wheels. That is important because sitting on a wheeled cooler often stresses and damages the wheels. It keeps ice for many days and has an incredibly tight seal. This is the best cooler I’ve ever owned.
Excellent buy! Since YETI put out the new “ultra ice chests” we have looked for others that are less expensive and comparable to them. This ice chest meets the bill. We have had the same ice in it for two weeks. Highly recommend it and it’s easy to move. Don’t pay an extra $125 or $150 for a name brand box and then extra for a wheel package, this has it all! Good cooler for the price but needs accessories I knew I was heading for a camping trip with very hot weather so I decided to pick up the Driftsun cooler in hopes of getting a high-quality cooler at a slightly more affordable price. We ended up spending five nights near a lake where the average daytime temperature was about 95°F.I pre-froze the cooler overnight with blocks of ice and ended up putting 2 1 gallon frozen bottles of water as my main source of ice.
