Custom-knife feel at a production-knife price. That’s the idea behind the Massdrop x Forum Forge Falcon. Designed by Forum Forge Knife Works, a two-man operation out of San Diego known for producing small batches of custom knives, this folder is small enough to take anywhere, yet rugged enough to open boxes, cut rope, slice food, and much more. The blade is made from S35VN stainless steel for excellent edge retention and resistance to corrosion. It flips open effortlessly thanks to the caged bearing system—a mechanism used in nearly all of Forum Forge’s custom knives. The 6AL4V titanium handle is both lightweight and strong. Bead blasted to a smooth grey finish, it complements the satin blade nicely. A 3D-machined titanium clip is reversible for righties and lefties. This folder boasts a blade with remarkable edge-holding ability and wear resistance, placing the Falcon on par with knives vastly more expensive. Custom-knife feel at a production-knife value. The Falcon’s 2. 9-inch drop-point blade features a sizable choli for index finger placement when choking up. The spine has a concave cut-out offering a natural thumb rest for a forward grip. As far as hardware, the Falcon has been crafted with the best materials on the market. Thanks to titanium’s spring properties, it makes for a safe and reliable frame lock that is almost impossible to accidentally disengage. The hardened steel lock bar insert won’t wear out in the long haul, drastically increasing the folder’s longevity. Holding the knife together is a titanium back spacer, bead blasted in grey. Also notable is the titanium clip, which has been adjusted for tension so that it stays put on the go, but it won’t rip your pants apart when taking out the knife.

Fun sized tank… EDC sized beast with a midtech feel. Fit and finish is awesome, and action just about perfect. About the size of a Spyderco Delica, and comes with a nice nylon zipper pouch, well worth the price.

Check it out. Very impressed with this knife. Blade stock is thick, but slices well. Size is right in my edc preferred range. Similar to the sage 5 or native 5. Solid lock up with zero play in any directions. Smooth flipper action and great ergonomics. Came sharp, great steel and weight. Genuinely satisfied.

Top quality. Well worth the money! I’ve been following these knives for a bit and took a shot. This is a very well made knife! The blade, handle and clip are top quality. Perfect fit and finish.I’ve spent more on knives that didn’t have a perfect lock up when the blade is open, but this one has no wiggle when locked open, which is a huge thing for me, as lots of blades at higher prices don’t always get that right.Feels good in the hand and has a nice, thick blade. I like that the knife is substantial when opened, but…
