Shelf is great, mounting it not so much The shelf holds my laundry detergents and my iron nicely. I’d imagine it’s about 12-15 pounds of “stuff” and the shelf holds it just fine. I docked a star because the supplied mounting hardware (specifically the anchors) is not appropriate in my opinion. I used my own. Also, be aware that the supplied sheet metal wall mount has very sharp edges. I would highly recommend wearing jeans and shoes in case the mount accidentally falls during installation. Super sturdy space savers! Perfect solution for my smal kitchen. I bought two of these shelves to hang above the two doorways in my kitchen. Any large items that aren’t used daily go up there.Really perfect size and very very sturdy – it’s holding bulky small appliances and heavy glass containers in my kitchen without any “give” or movement. We walk under them multiple times a day without worry.If you have a small kitchen this space saver is wonderful!
Works Perfectly for Our Laundry Installation As described. Easy to install – as other reviewers note it DOES NOT include mounting screws. I used 4x 1.25″ wood screws with anchors into drywall, similar to others. We use it for laundry supplies (detergent, dryer sheets, etc) above our washer / dryer so supporting no more than 10-15 lbs with the shelf showing no stress. I purchased this as opposed to more expensive / heavier duty alternatives given the modest requirements of our installation. Works great for what we intended.
