This steel and heavy duty canvas cot works just great! And it has a Five (5) year warranty!! How can you go wrong? My son is big. 300 pounds big with 52″ shoulders. I have bought other cots before but they were either too narrow, or they just plain collapsed after a few nights on them. This cot is different because the frame is made of STEEL. Although a bit heavier the strength of steel parts and frame will last a lot longer than aluminum framed ones. Sure it is a bit heavier but I really don’t picture anyone going backpacking with a full cot anyway.
