Works great at a lower cost than Brita Tap water filters quickly through the upper portion of the pitcher leaving the bottom of the pitcher with odorless and flavorless water. Much easier to do than boiling water to make tea or coffee.Filters are less expensive than other brand too, And I like the green color.
