The Hot Set-Up for a He-Man Coffee Warmer. I have two of these, in daily use since 2013 and 2015, respectively. They make great coffee warmers, for people who actually like their coffee hot as opposed to tepid. There are downsides to this, however. First, you only need the Warm setting to keep coffee hot; if you absent-mindedly turn the knob too far, the results could be dire— e.g. boil away your beverage and crack your cup, never mind destroy your domicile. It’s no help here that the pilot light does NOT show that the unit is On, only…

Works well for me Purchased to use to keep my coffee warm. I’ve given up on expensive coffee pots that break in short period of time. This hot plate set between warm and low keeps a Melita brand porcelain pot of coffee drinking temperature until it’s finished. I almost didn’t purchase based on negative reviews. Glad I did.
