Don’t buy it! It’s an expensive piece of JUNK! I purchased this cooler back in July after considerable research. I am away from home and fly frequently for my job, so I pack frozen home cooked meals to take with me. I wanted a cooler that had clasps so that I didn’t have to worry about it opening during transit and would keep my food frozen for at least 5 or 6 hours. Took the YETI back, this Engel is a keeper. Get this model while you still can. I read that online, these units @Amazon are NOS (new old stock). The design has changed. A stupid port has been added, thru the RHS, to permit passthru of an Oxygen line – with the redesigned model (which costs more). Cabela’s had the newer type available in-store @Dundee – and they had the port added in the top RHS of the lid. Same reason, to keep minnows alive. Well, it’s a cooler – that’s what people want it for 99.9% of the time – so forget the (costly…

There are lots of seemingly similar coolers for 1/2 to 1/4 that. They donât compare. And there lots of coolers (Yeti and Yeti knock-offs) for double and triple the price. But Iâm…
