Quality product. Worked out well on our fall camping … Quality product. Worked out well on our fall camping trip and a month stay at beach for ice cold refreshments. Note you need two people to lift this cooler when full of ice and food. Stable feet do not allow cooler to slide inside truck bed. You need 8-10 lbs of ice to make this size work properly.

A great value in comparison to the alternatives I bought this cooler because it weighs in much lower than almost all of the alternatives. The cheaper Pelican currently on sale at Costco and here on Amazon weighs 20 lbs more, or you can pay over $60 more for the Yeti that weighs 6 lbs more. The inside of mine is NOT pebbled, and there is no red and blue logo on the front (just the raised text that can be seen on the front of the lid). I’ve used it once and it kept ice blocks frozen all weekend (but it was only the 60s, so I’m waiting for a…

Can’t Imagine A Better Cooler I purchased the 35 qt Engel primarily for keeping beverages cold in my boat and for weekend camping trip. I read several reviews online where the Engel significantly out-performed the Yeti on ice retention. Although the Yeti’s were readily available at all of the local big box stores, I wanted to give the Engel a try. I have to say that I’m very glad that I did for several reasons.
