The paint is chipping after 2 months These are nice looking bowls, but they are horrible because they chip. I bought two sets for my wife and after just two months of gentle use, the majority of the bowls have the paint chipping off. DO NOT BUY THESES!
Really lovely dishes, not worth the price, see below. These dishes are absolutely beautiful. I looked in several places for this particular pattern and could not find a better price on this set anywhere I looked, either online or in brick-and-mortar stores.UPDATE: I changed my review from 5 stars to 3 because after having these for approximately a year now, I realize they are poorly made, and I would not buy them again. Gorgeous dishes with a few drawbacks. Beautiful dishes. I bought a set for my son to use in his new house. Unfortunately they do chip rather easily. And be very careful in the microwave. If possible use a different plate, bowl or mug to use in microwave and then transfer into the Zanzibar dishes.
