Better then platypus or sawyer bags I bought the 2 liter and really love this for using with my sawyer squeeze. The threading fits perfectly to the squeeze. I wish Platypus and Sawyer would step things up and start attaching their caps as well because I lost a few of them while hiking the AT last year. The elastic cord for storing the bottles rolled up is a really nice added touch which I’ve replicated on my other soft bottles.
High quality carriers that are perfect with the Sawyer Squeeze I bought these as a supplement to my Sawyer Squeeze water filter on my backpacking trips and they work wonderfully! I also had some Platypus carriers and they work, but the pitch on the threads seems just slightly different and I was always worrying that I was going to mess up the threads on my filter. Great Soft Bottle!! Just as good, if not better,than the Platypus Soft bottles – with the bonus of the cap not getting lost!!, The Evernew soft bottle has an edge over the Platypus soft bottles in that the cap stays attached to the bottle when you drink out of it, or fill it. I own most every type and size of the Platypus soft sided bottles – from the 16 oz to the 2 Liter versions, including the Plus bottles!
