Good value. Where I live, we are prone to all sorts of different types of severe weather, and weather-related power outages are not unheard of. Thus, I was looking for some easy to store lighting (no clunky lanterns needing big expensive lantern batteries for example) for such emergencies, and so when I saw a three pack of these little dudes for 14 bucks, I figured I’d give them a try.
Great for our storm kit! I purchased these lanterns because there were hurricane warnings popping up over the weekend. Luckily, the hurricane blew past, but these lanterns are great! I love that they take batteries so I can just put a pack in the storm kit and not worry about having to charge them up or anything. They are small and have no buttons to turn on. Compact and bright! I purchased these lanterns for emergencies and power outages during Hurricane Season. This Lantern takes 3 AA batteries which are easily installed by twisting off the bottom of the lantern. No screwdrivers needed here. To turn a lantern on you open it up by lifting up on the top or the handles and to turn it off you simply depress the lantern by pushing it down and closing it.
