Out of the Box, This Feels Like a Solid Saw It’s too early for me to give a full review, but I can say I’m very impressed with my initial experience with this saw. As I pulled it from its box, it became obvious this is a beefy little saw. It feels heavy and well built.

Good saw if used properly, great value. Huge step up from an abrasive chop saw I’ve made dozens of projects and hundreds of cuts with this saw and I’m still impressed with the quality of cuts that it produces. There was a bit of a learning curve as this is the firs dry cut saw I’d ever used but once I figured it out and matched the blade to the material I have been happy with its performance ever since. I used the blade that came with it until I got used to how to use the saw before I changed it and I’m glad that I did. Replacement blades are expensive but with good…

Hard to beat for the price This saw is for cutting metal. It rotates much slower than a wood miter saw. For different types of metal you will find blades designed for that purpose. The Orange blade that ships with the unit is general purpose, so don’t expect it too work great on aluminum which requires a blade with a lot more teeth $100. A blade for mainly steel is going to be around $80. For the price of the saw you can’t expect them to ship it with a blade that expensive. Overall a good value, so for less than $200…
