Jack of all trades, master of none My star rating is based on the saw only but I will also cover how the Evolution company and Amazon have failed this product.
Setting up the saw was pretty straight-forward and the overall quality seems to be “okay” Setting up the saw was pretty straight-forward and the overall quality seems to be “okay”. The bevel indicator on the back of the unit is almost blocked by the saw itself so it is not easy to get an accurate reading of the angle of the bevel you set the saw to. Adjusting the miter takes effort especially if the saw is not fastened to a table. Unless I am missing an adjustment, I need to hold the edge of the base with my left hand while adjusting the miter with my right to keep the saw…
Good with the proper blade, otherwise not worth keeping. The saw is decent, and the arm slides smoothly.
