Budget knives, does not hold sharp edge These are budget knives. They’re meant to be used in a manner where they get roughed up and worn down. Aka: college use, multiple housemates, community kitchen, etc. After re-sharpening these knives, I found they do not hold an edge well, and thus are dangerous if they slip while cutting food. I personally would not use these knives for my daily use, and have since upgraded to better knives. With a better set of knives, I do not dread de-boning my chicken, dicing my onions, or cutting…
covers don’t fit Just received these knives and have not used them yet. However, would like to point out that the covers fit well for all but two of the knives. The cover for the purple chef knife is so tight that it has to be pushed in; the cover for the green santoku knife is so loose that it falls off. Hope the knives work well but the loss of safety for the santoku knife is very concerning.
worth every penny those knives are sharp and well made –the colous are vibrant and very pleasing to the eye.I would recommend it to everyone who likes quality products that adds color to your kitchen.UpdateColour starts to peel off the knifes so badly that is had to go –since I found few flakes of colour paint in the food –therefore I would not consider those knifes as a safe product –since the colour is pealing off and ends up in your food.
