The HL60R headlamp is the first USB rechargeable light in Fenix’s HL Series. Operating off of one 18650 battery or two CR123A batteries, this light can stay in Turbo mode for nearly an hour and in Eco mode for over 100 hours. The Cree XM-L2 T6 neutral white LED bulb means superior definition and penetration in high-humidity environments. A 127 yard throw reaches farther while the side switch on the head is all you need for ON/OFF and output selection. The alternator went bad. It was 6 Okay so….I bought this for my get home bag, but I was driving home from school and my car broke down. The alternator went bad. It was 6:30 and already dark, so I couldn’t see anything on the side of the freeway. The next exit down happen to have an O’reilly’s store, which happen to have my alternator. Lucky right!!! I know, lol. So, I had already charged the battery two weeks beforehand, so I put the headlamp on, and let me tell you. While I was walking to the store I had it on high, so…

Overheats on brightest setting. All the great reviews on this head lamp lead me to purchase it. I did not read one person say that the light over heats on the highest setting. Well, I use mine about an hour each morning before the sun rises to get my load ready. If you need the brightest setting for any more than 2 or 3 minutes it will derate to the next level down in brightness. The thing gets so hot my forehead starts sweating. It is ok, just ok on the 2nd to the brightest setting, but nothing to brag about. It’s very…

The best and last headlamp you ever will need for safety, work, and challenging outdoor activities THE BEST HEADLAMP, EVER!! If you have been using AA, or more likely AAA, battery based headlamps that die after 1-2 hours then this beast will blow you away. I often use a headlamp to work on construction or mechanic projects at night, or need them for light during night hiking/exploring, or for “worst weather and road side repair” situations. I got sick of even some top brand headlamps that have button switches not friendly to work glove operation, and that die after a seemingly…
