Songs are too short Bought this for my son when he was 4 months. As everyone has already said, the base is activated by the giant yellow button, not the actual “boogies”. My son doesn’t seem to understand that the boogies and the light-up base are part of the same toy! He absolutely loves the colorful boogies…much more than the music and lights! Possibly because the music only plays for a few seconds. If it played longer, I think my son would be more into it.
Wish music lasted longer I wish the music lasted longer or it changes when you stack the characters a certain way. My 2 year old loves using this as a beatbox (she doesn’t care for the stacking part and it’s been long forgotten) and will dance to the music. It frustrates her to only get a few seconds of music at a time. Very good quality & a favorite of my kids.
I wanted to like this toy because it’s really cute I wanted to like this toy because it’s really cute! But they fall over way to easily, and it’s very easy to figure out that if you just press the yellow top instead of stacking the little monsters, that the music just adds an extra instrument. It would have been cooler if it would start playing different music, or if there was a way that the toy required the monsters to be stacked in order for new music to play. It’s cute, but he doesn’t play with it a lot.
