great for someone starting out with backpacking Well, I used these pots & pans for my first expedition into the Grand Canyon for 3 days. I used the two more shallow “lids” as bowls to eat out of for oatmeal and that worked great. They even wiped up really easy. I used the largest one to boil water for coffee, oatmeal, and my freeze dried backpacker meals (which I do not think I will do next time). It held up pretty well, except when the wind is blowing you must ensure that the handle is going INTO the wind! I began to boil water…

Value way to Camp Light GREAT Value!Have volume increments. Useful for dehydrated meals. You really only need 2 of the pots for a 2 person Backpacking trip.Fit well together – I pack my stove and fuel inside the pots to save space. The $8 pocket rocket knock-off fits easily inside the smaller pair.Fuel fits PERFECTLY inside. They don’t pour well – So making coffee or using a small amount of boiling water is sometimes wasteful.

Budget purchase with weight saving and cooking performance! I just used these on a 3 day, 30 mile hike from the Approach Trail to Suches on the AT. These worked great! They had the graduated marks which made cooking perfect. I used the short pot/lid to reheat grilled chicken for burritos with taco sauce the first night and had no sticking. Boiled meals were simple as well.
