Useless highway navigation Chose this because it supposedly provides automotive navigation as well as all the outdoor navigation. Problem- the automotive navigation chooses to avoid interstates. A 2.5 hour drive, that I make twice weekly was navigated into a 5.25 hour drive by taking every backroad and state road between here and there. Imagine what this provides if you DON’T know how to get to your destination.

Nice Garmin GPS; touchscreen and larger screen are helpful. I like the touch screen and the larger image on this model Garmin. I ride with a mounted search and rescue unit required to carry a GPS device, and the Garmin seems to be the device of choice. The information is easy to read and download, share and “use.”

go to Garmin’s website and download the manual as the one that comes with it is pretty lame. Acquires signal quickly as compared to older … I believe the updates have corrected the problems other reviewers have stated. I have had no problems at all. If you have maps you purchased on a microSD, they will work. If you downloaded to your own microSD and placed them in another unit, they will not work. Garmin only allows downloaded maps to be used in one device.
