Product Features
- It works with any refrigerator that currently uses GE RPWF or RPWFE filters. It is used in selected GE french-door refrigerators. Compatible with select GE french-door refrigerators.
- GE most advanced filtration: Tested and verified to filter five trace pharmaceuticals. Operation Water Pressure (psi): 25 min. – 120 max.
- Premium filtration: Certified to reduce chlorine-resistant cysts, lead, select pharmaceuticals and 50 other contaminants.
- Easy filter replacement: No tools of water-turnoff required to replace cartridge inside refrigerator.
- Six-Month filter life: For best filtration results, filter cartridge should be replaced every six months or 300 gallons.

Two Stars Feel like I’m being extorted by GE.
Works great but overpriced and GE is heavy-handed in making you buy their filter I’d give it 5-stars for function and form. It’s easy to install and the water tastes great.HOWEVER (!), for value and heavy-handed business practices I give it sub-1 star. $50? Seriously? So it’s not enough that I buy a $2600 refrigerator from GE…they need/want a recurring revenue stream so bad they make me buy their over-priced, proprietary water filter otherwise my fridge glares at me with a red warning message that I cannot get rid of.That burns me up, frankly…
Good filter HOWEVER!!!!!!!! I’m so ANGRY that GE would use this marketing/sales ‘Gimmick’ to justify TRIPPING the price of a good water filter just to STOP ALL COMPETITION!!!! SHAMEFUL!I own a new GE Profile Series refrigerator. (PFE 28K..) We enjoy the in-door water and ice dispenser with auto sensing and the display showing the Ozs. fill and, AT FIRST, the ‘Countdown’ timer for water filter replacement.
