Lightweight Headlamp I own several different headlamp flashlights of various sizes and brightnesses. This particular model (GearLight LED Headlamp Flashlight S500) is lightweight and compact, but still is plenty bright. I could see these being a good option for a variety of uses from somebody walking/jogging at night, to working in a dark space (plumbing under cabinet, etc.). They use 3 AAA batteries. For the price of a 2 pack ($10 at time of review) it’s tough to go wrong.

White AND red light This headlamp lights your way at night with a white light — but also offers red light mode as well. Why would you want this? Because red light can help you preserve your low light vision at night. It’s a very capable headlamp with a little something extra.

Amazing light for the price! It’s super bright and has simple function. It has high/medium/low/strobe functions as well as red lights. It’s pretty lightweight, but doesn’t feel cheap. It feels way better than a $5 light. I don’t think you can beat it for the price. It’s just as bright as my $40 Petzel light. The only downside is that it has the strobe feature that you have to cycle through to turn it off. I don’t like the strobe feature on lights and I wish the manufacturers would stop using it so much.
