Almost perfect. Great pack for short day hikes. I like the insulation in the bag that keeps your water cold longer and cuts down on condensation. Space for other items is decent too, enough room for your phone, wallet, snacks and a first aid kit. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that when you suck on the mouthpiece, air tends to leak in from the backside of the mouthpiece so you end up getting less water and more air than you expect. But otherwise I’m very happy with this hydration pack.

Perfect lightweight hiking backpack I got this for my mom, who is a 67-year-old hiker. She can’t carry much weight and had been using a standard CamelBak for hiking, but needed something that would allow her to carry a bit more stuff, but still lightweight. This turned out to be perfect. She says the design makes it feel almost weightless to carry (except when the water bladder is full), which is important to her. She likes the protective cover on the mouthpiece of the water bladder, price was good, can’t think of anything not to…

Great size for short hikes I love this backpack for my hikes. It’s a perfect size. Holds more than enough water. Extra pockets for snacks, phone, keys, etc. It’s really comfortable with the exception of the chest strap. It hits me in the wrong place but since it’s the only strap that goes across the body, I use it. This is my first hydration pack so I don’t know if this is common but I’m still getting used to the water tube. Biting and sucking water at the same time takes a little more effort than I would have thought…
