Works as intended. US GI issue. Several small dents but has character. Satin finish typical of 1960’s or later production. Have WW2 and a mid 50’s made. They have a smoother or polished finish. However the earlier made ones handles where sloppier and did not fit together real well. Have to remember that main purpose of the design was being served at a field kitchen and not cooking. They could be used to heat up the “C” rations entree which is precooked. This was usually canned pork and beans, spaghetti…

good plate, but It is a good B.O.B item, I have in the past wrote a bad review of this item, but after using it a few times it does work, but it’s not as thick as the one I used back in the early 90’s while on active duty.But if you write a bad report these people will email, and harass you until you change your review of the item. So I ‘m not going to say the product is bad, because it’s not, but the company is not very professional at all.
