Poor quality control This is the second one of these I bought. The first was razor sharp. This one was dull.Poor quality control. However it’s still a nice axe for backpacking…..after I sharpened it.
Trust the bad reviews Trust the negative reviews! Came super dull, had trouble cutting down a 3″ tree! Afterwards the blade had nicks and pits and was starting to fold in a couple spots, also the handle is far too short providing little leverage. The knife isn’t too bad but take it out of the handle before using the hatchet else it might go flying. Buy a real hatchet not a novelty product.
