Changed from my leatherman I had a gerber multi tool when I was in Cuba and loved it, but changed to the leatherman when I lost it. Got a gift card and thought I would go back to it, and dont regret it at all. The design makes it easier on the hand and very easy to open the plier part. the replaceable cutters in the pliers make it a must have! I have three leathermans that I have had replaced and worked on due the cutters getting messed up way too easy. I use this thing more times a day than I can count with my job, and…

Not well built, strongly advise against purchase Not a well built product at all. Within the first 10 minutes after unboxing I cut one thing with the cutter and it broke. Something we have cut with cheaper all in one tools and they held up. We had it returned the same day we bought it. Our money was refunded within 3 days, that’s about the only good thing we have to say. Not sure if we just got a defective one or not. We went on Gerber’s website and found a better one for cheaper

Workhorse I had this one’s grandfather on my belt for maybe fifteen years. It turned up missing (kids) so I got this one as a replacement. Just as useful if not a little more so because of the updated tool set. The cutters slip through a wire hanger like it’s nothing and it makes a fairly blunt cut. File has course and fine sides that do a great job on burrs and bevels. Standard and serrated edges are good. Standard knife edge hones to fine, (not razor) sharp.
