Great knife from a great company Great knife from a great company. The knife is very sharp and easy to open with one hand. I got my first Gerber knife when I ran over one in the street and it broke off in my tire. While replacing my tire and found the other half (the blade) in the flat tire I mailed both the handle which was found in the street and blade which came out of my tire to Gerber and they sent me a brand new one. like mine, is used 95% of the time to … My new EDC knife. Lightweight, just the right size and a combo edge for all those EDC tasks. Let’s be real, you are not going to survive a plane crash and use this, or any other knife, to survive and build a glider to fly home. Your EDC knife, like mine, is used 95% of the time to open Amazon Prime boxes, open a pack of beef jerky or clean dirt from under my nails. But, this is the knife to do all those things. Large, Great-quality, Affordable Pocket Knife I lost my last similar Gerber knife. I paid half the price for this one and it is just as good as my last Gerber. High quality metal. Sharp edge and very good serrated area. Cuts like a champ. If I don’t lose it, it should last me a long, long time. This is a large pocket knife (8-1/2″ open, 4-3/4″ closed). It isn’t for those looking for something on the small side. You may need to lube the lock. Mine came tight enough where it took two hands to close.
