Great for specific things Be advised: This is very low power. It really only works for anything at arm’s length or less. But that’s perfect for certain things.It is perfect for map reading! Got it primarily for the blue lens tho. Few things make me as paranoid as being out in the dark and something happens, someone’s bleeding and I can’t find out where–especially if the person is in dark clothes. Great, but not very bright I took this little guy out into the field for roughly three weeks and it worked great. I had it attached to the outside of my kit with some good ol’ 550 cord so naturally it took a great deal of abuse. It survival through the rain and mud just fine. The biggest thing to note is that this is NOT a very bright light.It is perfect for reading maps or doing other close up tasks. The rotating filter bezel is very positive and never moved on its own.
