Oh what a horrible quality this is Oh what a horrible quality this is… first off, bowls and plates came broken and chipped, and if that is not bad enough, literally every plate or bowl than didnât come broken, has black spots on them glazed in! At first I thought that it was just dirt from the box, and once I wash it it will come off. But no. It stayed. Not to mention different bubbles and pieces of clay sticking out on the dishes. Clarifying Sizes of Plates and Mugs The dinner plates measure 9-1/4″ across and 10-5/8″ from corner to corner. They are smaller than a standard dinner plate, but that may not be a bad thing when you think about it. The cups are smaller than advertised. I measured 12 oz. of water and filled one of the cups to the brim and had water leftover. So figure about 11 oz. of liquid.
