I love the lights performance and size, but it has flaws, and they are all about the button.First, the button is exceedingly hard to press. LIGHT as BRIGHT as you need it to BE We, in Puerto Rico, just experience two hurricanes. This was the primary light source at night. I charged it up at the office and used it in the evenings. The light can be adjusted easily. It could be REALLY bright or just bright enough. I lit up the balcony, living room, kitchen, and corridor at the same time and my condominium is huge. I love these lanterns. Great for off-grid. We have a mini, two 400s, and a Core. We are on off-grid solar power so charge them during the day and use them at night. Essentially we have given up on plug-in lights. The mini is really too small for an area light, but does fine for getting around in the dark or lighting small work areas. The other two can be hung to almost replace a normal area light. While the stand on the 400 is nice and it has an old school look, the Core is more practical with the magnetic bottom.
