Tempreture Controlled nicely with no issues for convienance. The best feature of the portable refrigerator/freezer is the convenience of use, and the ability for operation in my truck or the cabin I rented (with 120V AC). No need for a power inverter. The refrigerator is equipped with this feature as well to connect to my powerpoint (12V DC). Overall, it is a good system for traveling in hot weather with food and drinks to keep cold. I would purchase the Mini Fridge again if need be.
Accurately holds the temperature I set. I tested with a thermometer and set a variety of temperatures… this portable refrigerator did an excellent job of reaching and holding every temperature I set.I wish it had “zones” for freezer and refrigerator. You must choose; do you want a refrigerator OR do you want a freezer. It will do either quite well… but, not both. It does have a small area for “dairy”… which does not get as cold as the rest of the unit.For the money, I’m very pleased.
CHEAP and WEAK latch. It broke in the first four openings. Replacement also has cracks. After researching 12 volt refrigerators and reading reviews about the CostWay refrigerator sold on Amazon for $379 with Prime free shipping, I determined that this item was identical but might have been rebranded. It arrived quickly and it was in fact a CostWay.com refrigerator and I saved $40 which was great! Unpacked the unit and all was included and it worked. The third or fourth time I opened the latch to put a thermometer inside, the latch broke! It is unusable. I certainly did not use…
