quality control problem Ordered this axe after reading favorable reviews, here and elsewhere. My axe arrived warped. The back side (hammer-side) of the axe is useless because it bends to form a triangle (bit hard to explain), as if part of it melted away. The axe was also warped from the back hammer-side to the front blade-side (not from top edge to the bottom edge). It took me two hours of filing and stone work to get to a reasonable shape for chopping. Hammer-side is still useless — that can’t be fixed. I…

Decent for price. I like the graintex axe, and it chops pretty well.
