worked out great The Bugaboo camper cook set worked great for our family camping trip that required light weight travel by boat. Small gripes that other have mentioned: the handle is kind of cumbersome, the plates have become mishapen and scratched up even though we were only using plasticware, the “frying pan” is quite warped though still usable. I would suggest bringing something a little heavier duty for high heat items as it seems this frying pan is best for medium or low heat. It can be difficult…
Great Camping Item Previous to buying this item, I had a box of kitchen supplies when camping. This eliminated all of that bulk. It is still more for car-camping than back packing though, as it reduced space, but not weight.
Bugaboo – Perfect for Four, flawless quality. I have borrowed a friend’s GSI Halite Dualist set for a previous backpacking experience and was nothing but impressed at the quality and usability when backpacking. So when looking for my own set, I needed one for four… the Bugaboo is exactly what I needed.
