With its dependable, even-heating, non-stick coated surface, the GSI Outdoors Bugaboo aluminum fry pan is a rugged yet lightweight kitchen essential for gourmet meals while camping, backpacking, and relaxing at the cabin.
The 8-, 10-, and 12-inch Bugaboo models feature GSI’s SureLock folding handle, which provides a sturdy, stable grip over the stove top or grill and conveniently folds into the pan for storage and transport. The 14-inch model includes a removable handle that connects to the pan via three wing nuts, and it comes with a rubberized grip.

Not for use with microwave ovens, conventional ovens, or open campfires. Wash with hot water and mild detergent, and use only non-abrasive cloths and cleaners.

Love it, best camping pan i ever used. used once so far and it was awesome. Eggs, sausage and cheese were no problem for cooking or cleanup for that matter. Fish fry was delicious and also had no problems with cooking or cleanup. Although the handle is covered in plastic, you may want to put something in between. I like my pans and I take good care of them to ensure no chipping if i can help it. I will be wrapping it in a towel or something just to be safe.Weight wise – its not all that light, but also not too heavy either…
Great for camping/backpacking. I purchased this for an upcoming backpacking trip. I was originally going to purchase the Jetboil pan, but read a lot of reviews on how bad it was and how it didn’t cook evenly. Some of the reviewers mentioned this pan so I gave it a try. It is a bit on the heavy side, so get those legs in shape. I’ve only tried cooking eggs, one full egg and 3/4 cup of egg whites. On my first try it took a while to cook, I wasn’t sure about the heat so I kept it as low as possible. Nothing and I mean nothing…
Almost perfect This is a really good pan and I debated not giving it 5 stars, but there a couple things that keep it from perfect. On the good side: it’s very smooth and durable teflon non-stick. Not like some others that have ridged insides. It cooks well, but due to light weight requires a little more attention. On the downside – because it’s very light, it doesn’t give the impression of being long term durable. And it’s not exactly inexpensive at $30 bucks. It’s a little finnicky to clean having a ridged…
