Too bad really. They seemed good quality at first After a year of use most of the dishes have chipped. We only use them a couple times a month for 9 months of the year in our camper and they weren’t dropped or abused. Just from washing and stacking them. Too bad really. They seemed good quality at first.
Somewhat disappointed but will keep them for camping . . . Ordered enough for full settings for 8 people. We have a big family and I hate eating on paper plates, let alone throwing them away. Out of the box the disappointment was due to some of the stainless steel rims on the plates were loose (3 plates). Also, there were some spots where the enamel didn’t cover very well (2 cups).I didn’t want to send back the entire set of 4 servings then simply get another set with the same problems so I contacted the manufacturer: GSI. Maybe…. While this is far nicer than Colman’s collection of enamel campware, it still is not as nice as the ones I grew up with. There were more than a few bubbles, and a couple of chips, and a few dents. Not bothersome enough to return it. But concerning because it is supposed to be new and kind of spendy for everything I found wrong. It is also a lot lighter than other kinds I have held.
