Good Combo Cooker for Baking at a Lower Price My wife bought it for baking sourdough bread. It is well made and pre-seasoned. She baked her first loaf today and pleased with the cooker. The cooker was heated at 500 and then baked at 450 for about 45 minutes. Initially when searching for a combo cooker at Amazon she almost bought Lodge until she found Bruntmor at a lower price. She highly recommends it.
Needs a thorough scrubbing and reaseasoning when you get it The pan needs to be thoroughly scrubbed when you first get it. Otherwise tons of black “ash” comes off onto your food and everything else. I used coarse salt and oil and cleaned it with a paper towel on the ends of tongs. The pre-seasoning is also weirdly sticky, so you really neef to reseason yourself!
