Not waterproof! Not warterproof so would not recommend. We are avid mountain hikers and usually buy another brand for our sons, but we thought we’d go with with one for this time. Bad choice. when going through small streams (water went about toe deep max), the shoes got wet. When you advertise waterproof we expect waterproof… Especially when you rely on dry feet for multi-day hikes. Would not recommend.
Good sturdy boot. These are the third pair of this specific boot I have bought for my wife to use. She is very short at only 4’6″ and has very small feet. She loves these and wears them to work at the factory where she is employed. They endure at minimum 8 hours per day in wet and cold conditions and stand up very well as far as wear and tear is concerned. They are well made and she gets about 8-9 months out of a pair with constant punishment.
