Don’t waste your $$ on attractively priced trash Garbage boots. What happened Hi-Tec? You used to bring decent quality at affordable prices, now you’re just cheap. I had a pair of these boots for six months and the upper started to separate from the bottom part of one of the boots. I called the service number from the Hi-Tec website and was told by someone at Falcon footwear to fill out a form and send the boots in for a review at my expense (shipping) to a third party footwear vendor (Eastman). Who knows who owns who at this point…

Another great boot from Hi-Tec (see “UPDATE” in my review) I used to wear Hi-Tec boots all of the time years ago but for some reason I moved away from them. Well, I’m back! These fit perfectly, are comfortable, and completely waterproof. I have about 15 miles on them already and absolutely no problems. Cheap laces, cheap lace hooks Poor quality laces are a minor detail, but mine did shred quickly.
