I was happy to see this come in the mail I was happy to see this come in the mail! Planning on several hiking excursions this summer with my 13 year old. I bought two. After hiking on the Long Trail with my sister, and sleeping on uneven grounds, with a roll out pad, I really wanted something more for our next adventure. Once I received the Hikenture sleeping pad, I quickly opened it and blew it up! It really does take minimal breathes to fill this up. I love the locking feature that allows air in but not out between each breath…
Lightweight but NOT comfortable I bought this as an affordable, lightweight beginner backpacker’s sleeping pad. It’s amazingly light and compact, which is it’s biggest pro in my opinion. It inflates very easy, too, well under 20 breaths and it’s good to go. My biggest problem with this pad was comfort. I tested it out along with my other new backpacking gear in my backyard and was a little surprised at how little support it offered. I woke up pretty sore… the last thing anyone who has a day of hiking ahead of them…
Very Comfortable It does not matter if you sleep on your back, side or on your stomach, thisâ sleeping pad is very comfortable. Inflating or deflating this sleeping pad is quick and easy.
