Great quality!!! These just arrived and are more than I expected! The quality of this show is outstanding. The insides are lined with soft fur. No laces to worry about. There are soft pads at the ankle to help prevent snow from going down into shoe and I expect will give him more ankle support. These are such a great option for school, boys are either stuck with sneakers or straight up snow boots, not many options for snow shoes boys can wear daily at school. Bad snow grip/claw for otherwise a nice shoe Bought this a week ago and received it soon after. Size also fit nicely. So just make sure you check your size properly before purchase. Its not snowing yet but whether is getting colder in Boston. This shoe is very confortable if not for the grip/claw. That is the only downside. The grip/claw is not flat and not deep enough thus when walking on pavement, you will hear the metal grip/craw streching the walkway. And its loud. doesnt look it will last through the season It is a very big looking shoe . My 9yo says its comfortable and not heavy at all to wear all day at school I think he is right becuase when you hold it in your hand it is quite light. it is not lined either ..
