Throws well Bought for axe throwing. It’s a bit heavy so takes some effort to get a rotation, but hits well & the blade sticks better than some flat bladed axes.I did eventually switch to an axe gang, but this axe got me through an entire season.
Great thrower! The axe I received was actually the 15â camp axe by Husqvarna (not 13â hatchet like in the description), a happy accident in my case since I love the axe. I use it for throwing and itâs the highest weight allowable for NATF axâs throwing specs. It arrived ready for a long night of throwing and it performed just as well as a more expensive 15â axe of slightly lower weight but otherwise identical
Exactly the hatchet I was looking for Before ordering this hatchet I received the Husqvarna 26″ Multipurpose axe and was thrilled with the quality and durability of the axe. Felling small trees and splitting wood for the camp was easy! Looking into a smaller option I decided on the Husqvarna 13″ hatchet. Small trees (3-4″ or smaller in diameter) and splitting of small logs for firewood and kindling have been a pleasure.
