Great blader except for the marketing scam. it’s really just 2.5L, not 3L. I like Hydrapak’s reservoirs. They’re probably the best.I was worried about the new hose, but it works fine and lets more liquid through than the previous version. The volume of the reservoir is 3L when unlocked, 2.5L when locked. The other reviewer assumed this was referring to the top closing clip as the lock, but it is referring to the Shape Shifter spline inside the bag. Dependable Closure for a Dry Pack I own both a 2L and 3L HydraPak; they are virtually identical except the 3L is longer. I use them for trail running and hiking, and I’m pretty demanding with my gear.For me, the bottom line with HydraPak is that the closure is completely dependable.
