No leaks Got this for my spare Cotopaxi day pack. I already have a few Camelbak crux reservoirs and one Osprey specific one. I like the design of the Osprey due to minimal leakage at the bite valve. This one is similar to the Osprey so I like that a lot. Just filled it up and took it to work. So far no spills so I’m liking it. I probably should have washed it more thoroughly beforehand though because it still tastes kind of like the plastic tubing.
Great hydration pack Great hydration pack. It’s a good size and has all the features you would need in a bladder. The opening uses a clip style instead of the rounded screw types you find on camelbaks. This makes it so much easier to fill the bladder and wash it. It also just fits better into your pack. Hose is also detachable for easy cleaning. The bite valve also works pretty well. Only thing I would be cautious of would be the “insulated” claim in the title. I don’t think it’s actually insulated…
Nice and easy to clean hydration bladder This hydration bladder is nice and sporty looking, well-made and lightweight. The thing about hydration bladders is that they are only good when they are clean and it doesn’t take much for mould to grow inside them. Hence, I really do prefer the wide mouth opening to those round cap ones, as it is easy to fill and much easier to clean. I know because I have a Dakine Hydrapak and thought I would try this one out. Compared to the Dakine one, the material on this one is just a tad thinner and…
